Sanguich nails every aspect of the Cuban sandwich—from the crunchy bread down to the homemade pickles and perfect amount of mustard. We would tell you to come here if it was the only thing they sold, but they also make other great sandwiches you should try eventually—especially the self-titled Sanguich de Miami, which is a delicious mash-up of a BLT, turkey sandwich, and Cuban sandwich.

The 25 Best Restaurants In Miami

There are some really great sandwiches on this guide. But even after eating them all, we still feel comfortable saying Sanguich makes the best Cuban sandwich in Miami. This is probably not shocking news to anyone who’s read our review of the Little Havana sandwich shop. But we’re happy to say it again and again - every Miamian needs to try this Cuban sandwich. It’s magic from the first crispy bite: an always-perfect ratio of Cuban bread, Swiss cheese, ham, lechon, pickles, and mustard.

The Best Cuban Sandwiches In Miami
The Infatuation13 places
We’ve tried a number of Cubano sandwiches in Miami, and this is hands down the best we’ve had. Sanguich, a family establishment dedicated to sharing their traditions with the greater Miami community, is buzzing with positive energy. Located in a very unassuming strip plaza in Little Havana, visit their walk up window (ventanita), or take a seat inside and watch the chefs at work in their open kitchen. Wash it all down with a milkshake while you’re here too, trust us.

A Relaxing Weekend in Miami

Nowhere in Miami nails the ratios like Sanguich. Almost every Cuban sandwich we’ve had in Miami comes with an “if.” This one would be good “if” there was more ham. Or that one might be better “if” the swiss cheese was melted. There is no “if” at Sanguich. Every ingredient pulls its weight without overpowering anything else, and it makes every bite of roast pork, spiced ham, cheese, pickles, mustard, and crisp bread a perfect one, right until the last little edge.

For the locals of Little Havana, there’s no better sandwich than the Cubano – a variation of a ham and cheese, packed with pork, melted Swiss cheese, pickles and mustard – and you’ll find it prepared to perfection here. With its floating tables and Cuban tiles, the interiors are a homage to early 20th-century Cuban architecture. The best seats in the house are at the counter, where you can chew the fat with friendly staff. In a hurry? Rock up to their ventanita and get your sanguich to go.
