Griffith may get all of the attention, but Kenneth Hahn is impressive in both size and topography for a park in the middle of the Westside. The Culver City-area park contains a lotus pond and fishing lake, but the urban oasis really establishes itself with over seven miles of walking and hiking trails through the Baldwin Hills, with views of almost every corner of the L.A. Basin.

"I used to come up here a lot just to work out. This is a dope park in LA where, you know, it doesn’t cost to come here to work out. So, if you wanna get your reps in or your run in, you can do that at no cost. And then it’s beautiful because it got this beautiful view right here along next to this Martin Luther King Jr. monument. It just feels like home when I come here because it’s always an open space."

"My father used to take my sisters and I here when I was a child. I always felt like it was the biggest park in the world. It is pretty big and it contains some of the flyest views of the city in it. I go there often to train and re-set mentally. These days there is even a fruit truck at the top of the hill to greet you with fresh fruit after a workout.”

Try running a big loop that covers both sides of the ridge, and you'll earn elevated views in every direction over the city.
