The House of Commons and the House of Lords form the two Houses of Parliament of the United Kingdom, and are located in the Palace of Westminster in London. Functioning as both a major tourist attraction as well as the political heart of the UK, the surrounding area is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
