The Ferguson Police Department is a law enforcement agency serving Ferguson, Missouri. Since March 31, 2016, the Chief of Police has been Delrish Moss. A federal investigation by the United States Department of Justice initiated in the aftermath of the 2014 Ferguson unrest, found that the Ferguson police department routinely stereotyped and discriminated against African American residents in violation of the Constitution.
