5 Hotel Lobby Bars To Enjoy In Toronto

This boutique chain has locations throughout the U.S., including South Beach and Brooklyn. Their idea is to fuse each space with the natural elements that surround it. In Toronto this means local materials, like salvaged wood and limestone. The vibe is greenhouse-y, with lots of plants throughout the space — a particularly nice touch in the dead of a dark Canadian winter. Since I’m forever a fitness addict, I love the 24-hour gym and free group fitness classes they offer multiple times a week.

Plantlife abounds at this lush luxury hotel on Wellington that bills itself as the ultimate stay for the eco-friendly traveller (think organic linens and 3,300 plants.) There’s also an on-site composting system, farmers’ markets, and a rooftop pool next to the cocktail bar Harriet’s.

The Thompson Toronto is definitely a well-known hotel in the city, but what a lot of people don't know is how breathtaking the view is from their rooftop lounge! In the warmer months, they open up the outdoor patio and pool to offer stunning views of the city skyline while you sip on a cocktail.
