Haven’t been at Torquay (Australia), beach for some years, but it is still not spoiled by its fame. Yes, its popular and almost a suburb of Melbourne, but on any day in summer it’s the place to be. ..

On our southern road trip we stopped in at Torquay for a Quick Look. We parked on the street at the top of the beach and it was already quite busy. The beach itself is huge. It was a calm morning and

Terrible beach. No dogs allowed. Avoid Torquay. Such a shame because lots of the shops, cafes and bars are dog friendly. The Council needs to do better.
