The Museum of Romanticism is an art museum in Madrid, Spain, devoted to Romanticism. It was inaugurated in 1924 as Museo Romántico. It is one of the National Museums of Spain and it is attached to the Ministry of Culture.

We didn't spend a lot of time here but it was nice and interesting. Lots of painting, furniture and chandeliers. Very nice and helpful staff that gave us extra information about one of the rooms.

I thought it was just exquisite. Small quiet museum but plenty of rooms to view, each in their own style with period decor which was beautifully presented - detailed and delicate but not over the top.
