At Sloane looks, at first glance, like the archetypal Chelsea townhouse hotel, just off the square of (almost) the same name. In fact it’s that, and a little more — it’s as Parisian as it is Sloaney, thanks to hotelier Jean-Louis Costes, as well as architect and designer Francois-Joseph Graf. The décor is exquisitely detailed, and the atmosphere is exquisitely opulent, both in the rooms and suites and in the public spaces, which include a lovely top-floor restaurant and a swanky speakeasy-style cocktail bar.
