Always been ok in here (and been many times on match day) good atmosphere etc. but visited today and worst experience ever. Walked in and asked for half a cider and pint of Stella. Look around and guy

As always, an excellent experience. Beer's excellent, room's excellent, staff's excellent. I was served & entertained by Rachel from Consett (who's excellent, btw)!

My first time. It looks knackered, could do with a bit of an update, seats torn, tables worn out, BUT it's wheelchair accessible, the staff are friendly, the cider was good. Didnt check out the toi...
