Does London really need a hot pink, sprinkle-smothered, raspberry jam-stuffed cookie? No, we probably don’t. But this city probably didn’t need cockapoos either and we’ve been known to follow them around a WeWork like we’re moonlighting as The Supervet. Floozie—a very pastel, vegan cookie shop in the middle of Covent Garden Market—isn’t a place for practicality. It’s about mainlining chocolate chips and finding out what would have happened if you had access to disposable income as a child. There are sprinkles, there’s fudge, there are peanut butter and jam fillings. And all of the gooey-centre cookies are impressively creamy for plant-based bakes, and one-and-done rich. For those who like their sugar fix while stationary, there are a couple of tables inside and pink stools outdoors on sunny days. But we'd opt to order the still-warm chocolate chunk cookie and stroll away from all the tourists.
