Lovely pub with friendly staff even at a busy lunchtime. Excellent food

After a brusque welcome by a member of staff the lunch went okay.The fish and chips were excellent and the beer was great .Remembering a family relative who enjoyed pub lunches but who has passed on.

We visited this pub because we knew the food was great and we had a Christmas offer to open an envelope to reveal money off. We sat in the pub side next to a lovely open wood fire which was so nice ..
