The airport is owned and operated by the Mobile Airport Authority, a self-funded entity that receives no local tax dollars. There is no Air.Conditioning in the gate area... according to an employee since last week. Only in Mobile! Fans all over the place!
Do not eat inside the gate section of the airport. They only serve chicken and burgers and it's terrible. Peanut Butter crackers would have been so much better! Don't waste your money.
