Founded in 2016 by Shannon Maldonado, YOWIE grew from a design shop into a boutique hotel and café. Opened in 2023, the hotel features thirteen individually designed rooms. In 2024, YOWIE was named one of Travel + Leisure’s 100 Best New Hotels. Rooted in community and design, YOWIE hosts workshops.
