Right by the banks of the Rhône, in the Ancienne Préfecture of Lyon’s sixth arrondissement, Okko Hotels Lyon Pont Lafayette is one of a growing family of French-born boutique hotels. And while its surroundings may be ancient (and its architecture Haussmannian), its interiors, by Patrick Norguet, are as contemporary as they come, from the modernist-classic design furniture to the saturated gem-toned colors. There’s no restaurant in the classic hotel-restaurant sense, but the hotel does serve breakfast, as well as a daily Italian-style aperitivo, and a light all-day menu in the hotel’s Club.
