My husband and I went with our son for a meal yesterday. 1st time visiting. They didn't have a table downstairs but offered us upstairs and apologised as we would have the room to ourselves. Friendly.

This is a proper pub in every way. Great architecture with spectacular windows. It’s comfortable and the staff are always excellent. There’s always a good choice of beers and the screens will be show.

Always excellent food and service! Helen is extremely accommodating every time we come in. Will always return for our Sunday lunches in the hockey season!
