This cash-only Woodside staple makes a variety of excellent, affordably priced sweet and savory Colombian baked goods, like a buñuelo with a crust that’s as crisp as funnel cake. The beef empanada and chicharrón are also excellent, especially when paired with the bright and herby homemade hot sauce. And a moist, sweet arepa de choclo is the ideal snack with a slice of salty cheese and a cup of Rico Pan’s very good coffee. There’s limited counter seating, so be prepared to take your order to go. Stock up on treats at Rico Pan before going to hang at a friend’s apartment, and you will earn their unending loyalty in this life and the next.
