Seedo’s Levantine Bakery is a stall inside Sterling Food Hall that makes for a solid Loop pastry pit stop. Their baked foods are inspired by the owner’s Palestinian heritage, like basbousa coffee cake and pistachio croissants. But our favorite pastry is the lemon olive oil cake—it’s perfectly moist and has pleasant hints of rose and hibiscus. Seedo’s also has sandwiches like a breakfast one with eggs and harissa crunch aioli, or more lunch-leaning options with turkey or pastrami. While these are a bit more straightforward and less exciting than their pastries, they’re decent options if you don’t think ordering five olive oil cakes counts as a meal.
