With a sprawling buffet, Duluth’s 9292 is the Disney World of hot pot. Customizations start with a half-dozen broth choices like dashi, spicy mala, and beef bone (the rich and tangy tomato broth is our favorite). For the meat options, go with AYCE or a la carte (sign us up for the unlimited ribeye). This Japanese shabu-shabu provides individual pots, allowing you to get as unhinged as you want with add-ins like rice cakes, oyster mushrooms, tofu, crown daisy greens, etc. We also love that the buffet stretches far beyond hot pot with plenty of decent sides like banchan, inari, and japchae too. It’s cliche to say “save room for dessert,” but there will be lovely soft serve and sweet bingsu waiting on you when you’re finished.
