Ossett Academy and Sixth Form College (formerly Ossett School) is the only secondary school in Ossett, a town in the county of West Yorkshire, England. The school opened in 1735 as Ossett Grammar School and in 1969 the school converted to a comprehensive school and became known simply as Ossett School. In spring 2006, Ossett School gained dual Specialist School status and became known as a Specialist Technology and Sports College.
