The Helsinki Central Library is an upcoming public library in Helsinki, Finland to be built by the year 2018. The library will be built in the Töölönlahti district next to Helsinki Music Centre and Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art. A bidding to build the library set out in 2012 was won by the Finnish architectural firm ALA Architects. Structural design is by Ramboll Finland, drawing on competence in Denmark and Great Britain.
