Welcome to The Golden Lion! Just a stone's throw from Buckingham Palace, our pub dates back to 1690. Our 'theatre bar' features memorabilia from the former St James's Theatre and our family- and dog-friendly environment is easy to access by tube. Enjoy our delicious range of classic dishes and extensive drinks menu, from hand-battered cod and chips to pan seared steaks. Brilliant pub, great service, I’ll be back. Stopped on our hidden city game : guy serving was great at taking on the role.
The food and service was very good. Albert was extremely pleasant and friendly what a pleasure. Cocktails and drinks were a good price and pub had a great atmosphere.
After an afternoon in the national gallery we decided to walk pub with some history and we found the golden lion in kings street. Staff were helpful and friendly. We .managed to find a table upstairs.
