Built in the 17th century as a soap factory, and then upgraded to a château at the turn of the 20th, this stately edifice stands directly above the port of Théoule sur Mer. Today it’s put to its ultimate use as a smallish luxury hotel, with rooms divided between the original structure and the Art Deco villa next door. A pool and spa establish a resort atmosphere, and among the restaurants is Mareluna, highly regarded for its Asian-inflected Mediterranean flavors.
