Liberty Kitchen opened its third location, this time in Chestnut Hill. The stall is inside the Market at the Fairyway, so it feels more like a deli counter than the Fishtown or West Philly locations, but the menu is the same: hoagies on long, seeded rolls—we like the Italian Salumeria with spicy pepper relish—crispy cutlet sandwiches, and thick, bubbly tomato pies. There’s also a glass display case with meat and cheese by the pound, in case you want to make your own charcuterie board. But we suggest you head there for breakfast, lunch, or anytime you’re in the area with a sandwich itch that only a great hoagie can scratch.
