If you want to stay across the street from the Soo Locks this is a the place to stay. Some rooms overlook the St. Mary's River where you can see upbound vessels approach the locks. It's an old-school.

I really like staying here when I am in Sault Ste Marie. Walkable shops and restaurants. Right next to the Locks. Nice clean hotel. No pool. Breakfast is prepackaged muffins and yogurt, but Superior C

We stayed two nights. We could see the locks from our room, so that was good. The only “issue” if you want to call it that, was that we couldn’t get a cart out to the parking lot to load/unload our l.
