This small, family-run spot near the Round Rock/Hutto border is only open four days a week, which means you’ll either have to plan your visit around their limited hours or spend a Saturday standing in line behind a dozen other people also seeking roasted pork. The outdoor picnic tables fill up fast, and an order can easily require an hour wait during peak lunch hours. But that Styrofoam box packed full of tender meat is worth it. The rest of the menu reads like a greatest hits of Filipino comfort food—pancit, lumpia, and chicken inasal that all tastes like it’s come from someone’s home kitchen. But you’re here for lechon first and foremost. The skin is crispy, the meat is juicy, and the portions are big enough that you’ll likely have enough left over for a snack later.
