After years as a pop-up, Ruki’s Kitchen is now at Switchman Hall in Peoplestown, serving big portions of deeply spiced Ethiopian food you make time for. Ruki’s stall looks like a mini-restaurant, with a nice booth and posh lighting, so you might change your to-go plans and sit down with your meal. Dishes like the sega tibs—sirloin cooked with garlic, onions, tomatoes, and spices—are excellent and hot enough to clear your sinuses. And while the tibs are a can’t-miss order, the Habesha “Lemon Pepper Wet” wings keep things fun and very Atlanta—perfectly cooked until crispy and tossed in spicy, citrusy seasoning.
