About
East Beach Café is a cafe in Littlehampton, West Sussex. It is owned by Jane Wood and Sophie Murray, who commissioned designer Thomas Heatherwick to create an iconic building for the seaside town of Littlehampton. Heatherwick Studio were formally briefed in September 2005 to create a new cafe building on the site of an existing seafront kiosk. Thomas and his design team, headed by architect Peter Ayres, set out to create a building that fitted into its tough seaside context.

Disappointed that when I asked for fish fingers for a 5 year old I was told it couldn’t be done despite fish finger sandwiches available on main menu. Ordered the sandwich which actually was a couple.
What a lovely place! Right next to the sea, we had a wonderful view at our table and despite the weather, which was gloomy and rainy, the cafe was cosy and welcoming. The food was absolutely deliciou.
