From the outside, Brother’s looks a lot like a regular old dollar-slice shop. (Don’t get us wrong, we love a regular old dollar-slice shop.) But when you bite into a plain cheese slice, you’ll realize that there’s a lot more going down at this Staten Island pizzeria, open on a corner of Port Richmond since 1975. There’s a well-balanced sauce, a hefty coating of cheese, and an ultra-crisp undercarriage, making it more of a classic New York slice than some of the Island's more famous, almost cracker-like crusts. Order at the counter in the front, then grab a seat in the back, or take your pizza to go. Either way, prioritize this place when you need a quick slice—or three—and bring cash.
