Hit Giulia Bakery in Marietta when you need a focaccia fix or a giant croissant to start your morning. The tiny bakery sits next to Luga Italian Eatery (from the same team) in a busy shopping plaza. And we see why all the Ann Taylor and Lululemon shoppers are here breaking their no-carb rules. The focaccia is excellent, particularly the ones stuffed with fillings (the terrific ham and cheese makes any other ham, cheese, bread combo feel sad). And ironically for a bakery that leans more Italian than French, their massive croissants are another standout—perfectly flaky with alternating shades of brown on the outside that look painted on.
