It’s easy to miss The Tigress Pub when you’re driving past the vintage shops and thrift stores of North Loop. When you do spot it, it’s even easier to dismiss as another casual neighborhood pub. And while it is relaxed and inviting, the cocktails are as good as anything you’d find at some swanky Downtown speakeasy that still thinks the Prohibition Era is going strong. Tigress is small—show up on a weekday, or prepare to get cozy—but you’re getting great drinks and a cute, unpretentious space to enjoy them in.
