Freya is a cute little bakery adjacent to Pike Place that makes a wide assortment of pastries and coffee drinks—but we're mainly excited about their croissants. We would gladly curl up in those toasty, thin layers and take a nap. While the plain version could use just a touch more sugar to bring out more character of the dough, Freya has plenty of other interesting options, too, including a creamy spanakopita version that would be a hit at an afternoon picnic.
