Cordelia (formerly called Word of Mouth) in Crown Heights is a cafe, wine bar, and bookstore, as well as the unofficial co-working space for anyone with a 11238 zip code. It’s a great cozy place to get some work done, and you’ll be in likeminded company if you swing by during the day. There’s a small cafe menu of pastries (plus one arugula-heavy breakfast bowl) from 8am to 3pm, and at 5pm they switch over to wine and a few small snacks. Two things to note: They close from 4pm to 5pm every day, and host lots of events during the week, so check the Instagram before heading over if that’s not the kind of mood you’re in.
