It is pristine. Largely paved but a nice area to get a walk in. Kid friendly ! I have zero kids but there are Many places for them to frolic.

Brought my kids here to play one day. The park has a soccer field, a playground for the kids, basketball courts, clean bathrooms etc in a nice area. The children actually asked to come back.

Playa Vista Sports Park is another good one on the Westside. My girlfriend and I were here a month ago for a picnic, and it was fun. Nice family spot near the beach. People bring their pets here. Lots
