At the northern edge of the Marais, between the Place de la République and the Cirque d’Hiver Bouglione, lies Le Clark Hôtel, a charming little boutique hotel named for Edith Clark, the 20th-century parachutist who famously landed a jump from the roof of the circus. Life inside the hotel is a little more sedate, in a good way — its rooms, though circus-inspired, are elegant and quietly playful. In addition to the fine location, guests benefit from a small spa featuring a hammam, a sauna, and a gym.
