Hellyer County Park is one of 28 Santa Clara County Parks. The park is located just off of Highway 101 in San Jose, California, United States. The 178-acre park is home to Hellyer Park Velodrome and Cottonwood Lake. Other recreational opportunities at the park include picnicking, hiking, fishing, biking, and a playground. Coyote Creek Parkway is a multi-use trail that is paved for 15 miles south to Anderson Lake County Park.

Took my fur baby to check out Cottonwood Lake at Hellyer. This was around noon on a Saturday. Note-- it's not on the dog park side; it's where the splash pad is. Totally separate parking lot. Very nic
Really pretty park with a decent amount of walking trails. The lake is pretty and there are plenty of picnic areas to enjoy. Parking can get busy on the weekends.
Sweet little park with a sizable pond to walk around. There's also a trail off the pond. During the day it's lovely to walk around the lake- as a petite lady I didn't feel super safe running alone on
