This Rest stop on I-40 is one of the nicest we seen. Neat and clean with large green pet exercise area, trees and picnic tables.

Clean bathrooms, water fountains, garbage and recycling, vending machines, picnic areas, and plenty of parking (including for cars with trailers).

The Catawba County Rest Area was a nice one. The restrooms were clean as was the vending area and there was plenty of grassy areas to walk around and stretch your legs or walk a dog.
