Everyone remembers where they were on two occasions: the day the Kingdome blew up, and the day Jollibee came to the Seattle area with this outpost. Hordes of people continue to flood the JCPenney side of the mall’s parking lot to get here, ordering buckets of Filipino fried chicken in various combos. There may be splashier restaurants on Southcenter’s map, but this place always hits the spot with its crispy chicken, ramekins of warm gravy, and mango peach pies.
