With a wooden wall displaying vinyls and a turntable that’s always spinning, Dexter’s space reads more like a record lounge than a bar. Thankfully, great sound meets good wine at this listening bar in the Isola district. It’s only five minutes from Garibaldi train station and worth the walk past the lush Bosco Verticale towers and park. Like your favorite B-side, small plates here are subtle, unexpected, and you’ll have them stuck in your head the whole tram ride home. It’s all hits, no skips, from gilda skewers and tuna tostada to mushroom tempura. Grab a bite while you sip on a rare ruby Schioppettino and listen to Santana.
