Gainesville Regional Airport is a public airport three miles northeast of Gainesville, in Alachua County, Florida, United States. It is owned by Gainesville-Alachua Co. Auth. The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015 categorized it as a primary commercial service airport. Gainesville Regional Airport had 177,282 passenger boardings in calendar year 2011 and 159,499 enplanements in 2010. They also had 217,355 passenger boardings in 2015, more than 2% higher than 2014.
