New Pioneer Food Co-op, commonly shortened to New Pi, is a locally owned food cooperative based in Iowa City, Iowa. This city also serves as the headquarters of the National Cooperative Grocers Association. In addition to the Iowa City store, New Pioneer has a location in Coralville, and a third location which opened in Cedar Rapids in 2014. New Pioneer Co-op also includes a production hub in North Liberty, Iowa.

This place makes Hyvee look like Super Weenie Hut Jr. If you shop whats on sale, you get MUCH higher quality food for cheaper than Hyvee (AKA Scam land). There's a lot of amazing food here such as the
First time coming here since I was in the area and wanted to try and explore some new health food options. This stores selection was huge with a great variety of snacks, groceries and to go products.
Great selection of healthier foods (plus some gourmet chocolate bars!). Must try the cashew on a hot tin roof sandwich, or buy the spread and make your own!
