I'm not sure that the funky decor, such as it is, is reminiscent of 70's Eugene. It's more like a dive bar with friendly service and a neighborhood vibe. Scribles absolutely does not qualify as a date

The sandwiches are amazing! The portions are so big that sharing is required for us. Love the low key atmosphere and friendly service. Not much seating so best to go on off peak hours
