There are a lot of good restaurants in Brighton Beach, but only one with a legitimately frightening, life-sized bear statue out front. A selfie with him would be reason enough to visit Skovorodka. But this place—with a dark wood-lined interior that reminds us a little of Medieval Times—also happens to make delicious Russian food. Come here to celebrate something with a big group, and raise a toast with the blue goblets on every table.
