The people behind Rose Pizzeria have a new brainchild: Café Brusco, a coffee shop with bagels by day and a wine bar at night. The space, which is decked out with swanky tiling, big sliding windows, and colorful overhead lights, is an undeniably cool place to catch up with a friend no matter what time you’re here. And don’t expect only classic deli toppings with your bagels. On top of lox or tomatoes, you can also get figs, burrata with grated tomato, or (our favorite) mortadella with honey, pickled peppers, and calabrian cream cheese. If you want to swing by for a glass of wine and small plates, they’re open evenings from Thursday to Saturday.
