The pub was quiet when we arrived and although the fires were lit, it was a little bit chilly inside. Apparently they were waiting for logs. Staff were lovely, nothing too much trouble. A good menu, o

First time visit to this pub and the food was excellent. Service great and would recommend a visit. The ‘bowls’ of food were outstanding value for money

Had a nice pint of pale ale and a very good burger. Many thanks to the manager for returning my phone which I managed to leave on the table!
