Fritanga La Chavala is a Nicaraguan hot bar in Sweetwater making delicious fritanga and selling Nicaraguan merch. Pairing this spot with a tortilla from the nearby Carne Asada Tortilleria is a good idea, but even if you don't, you'll be happy with the queso frito. It might be the most impressive queso frito of any Miami fritanga. It’s more of a queso duvet, completely covering the strips of juicy carne and sweet maduros. But every aspect of this fritanga is great. Ask for extra salsa because you’ll want it in every crevice of the takeout container.
