A great burger can come from anywhere–in this case, from a single griddle in the back of a convenience store in Cabbagetown. There aren’t many places in Atlanta where you can stock up on produce, snacks, and toothpaste and then kick back and enjoy a juicy burger all within a living-room sized bodega. The novelty is part of the charm of this dual grocery store and burger joint that’s been around since 1929. There are a few stools at a tiny counter if you want the full effect, but this is mainly a neighborhood to-go spot.
