We arrived here at 11:30 on a Friday night after a long drive from Dundee. We wanted a pint before going to our hotel so popped in here. Really enjoyed it and made us feel welcome even when it was so

A hidden gem . We were there for a party in the function room. The room was ideal and set out beautifully. The friendly staff could not do enough for you . The buffet was very good with lots of choice

Great pub. Great atmosphere. Had a short visit to Dumfries and wish I'd found this gem earlier. Landlady is lovely and very friendly.
