About
The United States Navy Submarine Force Library and Museum is located on the Thames River in Groton, Connecticut. It is the only submarine museum managed exclusively by the Naval History& Heritage Command division of the Navy, and this makes it a repository for many special submarine items of national significance, including USS Nautilus. Visitors may take a 30-minute self-guided audio tour of the Nautilus.

Traveled 2 hours and paid for ferry only for museum to be closed. Website and phone recording clearly stated open. No one on staff could be bothered updating either. Shameful and inconsiderate.
We've visited this museum twice now. The self guided sub tour can be a bit tight, but as long as you leave enough space between people it's definitely doable, even for people who are not fans of tight
