This North Beach spot makes seemingly bottomless bowls of great Peruvian classics at highly reasonable prices. Even on a rainy Saturday afternoon, the entrance crowds with families eager to eat big bowls of arroz chaufa, ceviche, and pitchers of chicha morada. Our favorite dishes are the sampler plates. And the concept of “sampler” functions a little differently here. Instead of smaller portions, they just serve you full portions of different ceviches and causas. It’s all delicious and enough food for a professional athlete. The manager and servers greet regulars with hugs and kisses, which only fuels your desire to become a regular, too. If the weather is cooperating, take your leftovers to the beach across the street and continue your ceviche party with an ocean view.
