Like the other Thumbs Up venues around the city, the East Point spot nails the laid-back, neighborhood diner energy. It doesn’t quite match the consistency of the original Old Fourth Ward location. But classics like The Skillet Heap—with its mound of heavily seasoned potato hash loaded with toppings and two eggs any style— are reliably good.
